Why Pain Relief Through Telehealth?

Telehealth pain care represents more than pain relief fromthe comfort and convenience of your own home. You have everything you need to make a positive impact on your pain experience.  All that you need is a little guidance in the right direction and a few specific steps.  

The best pain science that we have, as of 2020, tells us that the most effective thing that we can do for pain relief is to put you in the director’s chair and let you tell the story.  Telehealth pain coaching allows me to use my knowledge and experience to your advantage.  My role is to inform your decisions and to give you both a system and a structure.  

What To Expect

  • Health History Questionnaire and Introductory forms 
  • Health History Interview
  • Consultation to develop a specific and individualized rehab or recovery plan
  • Individualized, person-centered coaching toward the ability to move and to live through, despite and beyond your pain.  
  • Eager cooperation with your existing medical or fitness team.  
  • Referral to appropriate specialists, colleagues and experts on an as-needed basis

What Will You Need?

  • A video conferencing platform (Zoom, FaceTime, Duo, Skype, etc.)
  • Enough room to maneuver for the purpose of assessment and exercise or rehabilitation movements and activities
  • At least some amount of exercise and resistance training equipment is preferred. 
    • Not mandatory or even necessary, however. 
    • We can perform the work, very effectively, with body weight exercises and safe household items.
